Pineapple Kulukki Sarbath (Shaken Lemonade with Pineapple)
" Pineapple Kulukki Sarbath " - a slightly spicy, salty and sweet refreshing drink from Kerala. It is actually a shaken lemonade made from lemon, ginger, green chilli ,soaked basil seeds and freshly chopped pineapple pieces. The name "Kulukki Sarbath" came because all these ingredients are shaken rigorously in a shaker along with ice cubes and served. This is a perfect drink for a really busy and tiring day. Ingredients Lemon -2 Pineapple - 2 tbsp (chopped) Basil Seeds (Takmaria) - 1 tbsp Green Chilli -1 (chopped) Ginger - 1 1/2 tsp (chopped) Sugar Syrup - To taste Salt - To taste Ice cubes - few Water - 2 cup Method Soak basil seeds in water for 15 mins. In a shaker add all the ingredients and shake well for 20 sec. Pour into a glass and serve chilled with ice cubes. Notes Add sugar salt and green chilli as per your taste.
