Teriyaki Salmon
Ingredients
- Salmon fillet - 4 nos
- Gingely Oil - 2 tbsp
- Vinegar - 2 tbsp
- Soy Sauce- 3 tbsp
- Garlic chopped - 1 tsp
- Ginger Chopped 1 tsp
- Mustard grounded - 1 tsp
- Red Pepper flakes -1/4 tsp
- Corn starch - 1/2 tsp
- Brown sugar - 2 tbsp
- Oil - for pan frying
- Spring onions
- Sesame seeds- to garnish
Method
- Mix ingredients numbered 2 to 11 to form a marinade.
- Marinate Salmon with the above marinade and set aside for minimum of 1 hr(best to keep it overnight in fridge).
- Remove salmon from marinade.
- Pace on a pan with oil and pan grill the salmon with skin facing side upwards.
- Remove and place on a serving plate.
- In the same pan pour the left over marinade and add cornstarch and mix well till it becomes a glazing saucy consistency.
- Pour the sauce over pan grilled salmon.
- Garnish with white sesame seeds and spring onions.
- Serve hot with butter garlic rice or any flavored rice.
