Hummus







Ingredients

  • Cooked chickpeas - 1 cup
  • Tahini - 2 tbsp (Refer for recipe  at :Tahini )
  • Garlic - 2 cloves
  • Olive oil- 1/4 cup
  • Cumin Powder - 1/4 tsp
  • Lemon juice-  11/2 tbsp
  • Curd - 1 tsp (optional)
  • Salt - to taste




Method

  1. In a grinder and grind chickpeas and garlic followed by tahini, lemon juice, salt, cumin powder and olive oil to form a nice smooth paste.
  2. Serve on a plate topped with olive oil and chopped parsley leaves.
  3. Tastes best with pita bread
