Coriander Mint Chicken
To Marinate

- Chicken pieces - 500 gm
- Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
- Pepper powder - 1 tsp
- Ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp
- Garam Masala powder - 1/2 tsp
- Coriander Leaves - 1/2 cup (chopped)
- Mint Leaves -1/2 cup (chopped)
- Curd - 3/4 cup
- Green chilly - 4
- Salt - To Taste
Method for Marination

- Grind ingredients numbered 2 to 10 to a fine paste.
- Add the paste to chicken and marinate well.
- Keep aside for at least 2 hrs . For best results keep it refrigerated overnight.

- Onion - 1 big
- Tomato -1/2
- Ginger Garlic Paste - 1 tbsp
- Green chilly - 4
- Turmeric powder - 2 tsp
- Coriander Powder - 2 tbsp
- Crushed Pepper powder - 1 1/2 tsp
- Garam Masala powder - 1 1/2 tsp
- Coriander Leaves
- Mint Leaves
- Salt - to taste
Method

- Heat 3 tbs oil and saute onions till light brown.
- Add ginger garlic paste followed by green chilli, mint and coriander leaves and saute till a nice aroma comes.
- Add turmeric, chilli, coriander powders, salt and garam masala powder and saute for 3 mins.
- Add chopped tomatoes and saute well.
- Add marinated chicken pieces and mix well. Close lid and cook until chicken is done . (No need to add water as water will start oozing from chicken).
- Tastes best with chapathi, appam, roti, rice, pathiri.
