Muringa Ila (Drumstick leaves) Parippu Thoran

- Drumstick Leaves - 1 cup
- Green chilli -1
- Curry Leaves
- Mustard seeds-1/2 tsp
- Red Chilli - 1
- Oil- 1 tsp
- Salt - To taste
- Cooked Chana Dal - 2 tbsp
To Grind (Coarse)

- Coconut - 1/4 cup
- Pearl Onion-2 nos
- Jeera (Cumin) -1 pinch
- Salt - 1 pinch
Method

- Separate the drumstick leaves from stem
- Wash and clean well and soak in water adding 1/2 tsp turmeric powder for 5 mins
- Drain and keep aside. .
- In a pan add oil. Splutter mustard seeds,red chilli and curry leaves.
- Add drumstick leaves .
- Add salt, turmeric powder, green chilli and close lid and cook for 5 mins
- Add cooked chana dal and mix well
- Add grounded coconut mixture and saute for 2 mins
- Serve hot with rice
