Pan Seared Salmon with Coconut Rice and Mango Avocado Salsa
Pan Seared Salmon
Ingredients
- Salmon fillet - 2 nos
- Sweet chilli Sauce- 2 tbsp
- Dijon Mustard sauce - 2 tsp
- Ginger garlic paste - 1/2 tsp
- Pepper Powder - 1 tsp
- Salt - as needed
- Garlic chopped - 1 tsp
- Ginger Chopped 1 tsp
- Butter - 2 tbsp
Method
- Clean and cut salmon to medium size pieces.
- Marinate Salmon with ingredients numbered 2 to 6.
- Heat a pan. Add butter and saute finely chopped ginger and garlic till golden brown.
- Place the marinated salmon pieces on top of browned ginger and garlic.
- When one side is brown flip the other side and cook till other side is brown.
- Once done, brush little pepper mixed with butter on top.
Ingredients
- Mango -1 Ripe but firm
- Avocado - 1 ripe but firm
- Red bell pepper - 1 tbsp chopped
- Onion - 1 tbsp (chopped)
- Coriander Leaves- few
- Jalapenos - 1 tsp chopped
- Salt - To Taste
- Olive Oil - 1 tsp
- Pepper Powder - 1/2 tsp
- Lemon juice - 1 tsp
- Honey 1 tsp
Method
- Clean and cut mangoes and avocados to small cubes.
- Mix all the ingredients in a bowl without getting mashed.
- Garnish with freshly chopped coriander leaves.
Coconut Rice
Ingredients
- Rice - 1 cup
- Water - 2 cup
- Coconut milk- 1/2 cup
- Butter - 1 tbsp
- Salt - as needed
Method
- Clean and wash rice really well and drain.
- In a wide bottomed vessel boil water, along with coconut milk ,salt and butter.
- Add drained rice.
- Cover and cook till done.
- Gently fluff the rice and transfer to a bowl.
- Serve with salmon and mango avocado salsa.
